Equipping small to medium Australian businesses with the cyber support they need
Australian small and medium-sized businesses are among the most vulnerable to cyber crime, with approximately $33 billion stolen funds reported over the course of just one year. Part of the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre’s strategy is to help small to medium businesses stay protected.
Recently, the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre hosted regional and metropolitan GigCity customers at Lot Fourteen in Adelaide to share insights into how they can receive the support they need to build their cyber resilience and knowledge. GigCity customers heard from the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre and SABRENet, who introduced them to the vital topic of cyber resilience and how it is never too late to take the steps needed to minimise cyber risk.
At this event, the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre shared with GigCity members the range of resources and services that they provide to assist small and medium businesses on their cyber journey, such as Cyber Clinics SA, where small to medium businesses can meet with a local cyber security professional for 45-minutes to receive cyber advice unique to their business.
Attendees also learnt about CyberOnRamp, an affordable subscription that gives them access to secure data backup, vulnerability monitoring, and more facilitated by experience IT professionals.
