Cyber battle bootcamp is preparatory event for the qualification round and finals. The bootcamp is one-day training, where we give the students top notch skills needed to qualify for the finals as well as educate them on cyber security.
We try to make the vibe very energetic and give the students a feeling that already getting to the bootcamp and actively learning is a big win. The main idea in the bootcamp is learning by doing.
Each topic is first introduced and explained and then practiced on our cyber range. We give the students practical hands-on tasks that they need to complete. Our trainers are there to give personalized support to all the participants.

We are always looking for ways to add value to the experience.
To make this a memorable experience we will also be providing mentors who would be available to help - online or in-person - on the 15 June and 6 July.
Teams will have a range of tasks to complete and mentors will be encouraged to be online in the Discord channel we are using for the capture the flag challenges, to offer guidance and assistance. Mentors will have technical expertise in cyber security challenges, be keen to work with participants who are at various stages
For mentors: If you can offer even a few hours on either day it would be appreciated. The participants in the CTF represent some of the best talent coming through both VET and Higher Education program across Australia so it is also a great way to get a look at some excellent new talent.
